The Tech Gadgets I Use Every Day and Would Buy Again
I’ve tested and reviewed hundreds of tech gadgets over the years. Most of them are fun for a while and then end up in a drawer, never to be touched again. But a few have earned a permanent spot in my daily routine. These are the gadgets I use almost every day and would honestly buy again.
At the top of the list is the iPad Pro. I’ve gone through a few versions since they first came out, and it’s easily the device I use more than anything else. I read on it, watch videos, and write scripts. When I pair it with a Bluetooth keyboard, it can even replace my laptop when I travel. The latest models also make it easy to access files on external drives, which has turned it into a serious work tool.
When it comes to travel, I don’t leave home without a ScotteVest. I’ve been using one for more than a decade. These vests are designed with pockets for everything from your phone and wallet to your passport and even an iPad. It keeps all of your essentials in one place and makes getting through the airport a lot easier.
One of the newer gadgets I’ve added to my everyday lineup is the Meta RayBan smart glasses. They let me take hands free phone calls, listen to music, and capture video and photos without pulling out my phone. They look like regular sunglasses, but they quietly do a lot more.
No trip to the gym is complete without the Tapplock. This fingerprint enabled padlock unlocks with a simple tap. There’s no key to lose and no combination to remember. I use it on my gym bag and travel gear, and it’s been one of the most convenient small gadgets I’ve owned.
If you have cats, the Litter Robot is a total game changer. I honestly can’t imagine life without it. Lucy and Barney hop in, do their business, and the unit automatically separates the clean litter and drops the waste into a sealed bag. There’s no scooping and no lingering smell. For cat owners, this is one of those products that quickly becomes essential.
And finally, noise canceling earbuds. For iPhone users, the AirPods Pro are easy to set up and sound great. I’ve also used the Bose QuietComfort earbuds for years and still love them. If someone doesn’t already have Bluetooth earbuds, they’ll use them every single day.
These aren’t the newest or flashiest gadgets on the market. They’re the ones that have stood the test of time in my house. If you’re looking for a gift someone will actually use long after the box is opened, these are all worth considering. I’d buy every one of them again.
